Papia Kabir is a Paralegal assisting with drafting client documents and representing parties in respect of immigration and notarial matters. Papia also supports and co-supervises our team of legal interns.
Papia can speak Bengali and English.
Before joining Woodcock Law and Notary Public as a Paralegal, Papia held the position as a Legal Intern for the Canary Wharf team. Since February 2021, she has assisted with document handling, facilitating notarial services and the legalisation of documents in liaison with the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office. Papia has also contributed to the firm’s blog on both immigration and notarial matters.
Her academic background includes an LLM postgraduate degree from BPP University, obtained in September 2020.
Papia intends to begin studying the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx) course with the view of becoming a fee-earning Paralegal and handling their own caseload of immigration work in the next few years.
Papia’s main strengths are building strong client relations and advising/supporting clients with their immigration cases. Papia has extensive drafting experience and expertly handles the legalisation process.
