We are specialists in personal immigration

We handle personal and family immigration, providing a bespoke, individualised approach to each client’s unique needs.

UK citizenship

British citizenship, or naturalisation, is a long-term goal for many immigrants in the UK. Many visa routes, though not all, can lead to permanent residency. We can help you find the right route for you, depending on your individual circumstances.

Many people apply to become British citizens each year. If you think you are ready to apply for citizenship in the UK, we can assess your eligibility and give advice on your next steps.

Becoming a citizen in the UK via naturalisation allows you to apply for your first British passport. The application process can sometimes be confusing, especially if it is your first time applying. We can talk you through the steps.

You will need to submit various documents along with your application. We can go over them and ensure that they are best placed to be accepted by the Home Office. Incomplete documentation often leads to rejection.

Family visas

The Family Visa allows individuals to reunite with loved ones in the UK – whether a child, partner, parent, or an adult coming to be cared for by a relative.

If you have family in or outside of the UK, you might be able to join them. Whether they can join you or not depends on your specific circumstances. We can assess your eligibility and guide you through the process.

Whether you are applying as a child, partner, parent, or carer, we can assist you in preparing your application. Often with Family Visas, your relationship with your family members is examined. We can help you meet the requirements.

You will need to submit several documents to support your application. We can go over them to ensure that they are best placed to be accepted by the Home Office.

Individuals who have been granted a visa to live and work in the UK may be allowed to bring ‘dependants’ with them – or have them join at a later date. A dependant can be a partner (husband, wife, civil partner, or unmarried partner) and/or children. We assist individuals and their dependant families through the immigration system, ensuring that they have the best possible chance of having their visas granted by UK Visas & Immigration.

UK visas

The UK visa system features a range of different routes, allowing individuals into the UK for all kinds of reasons.

Each visa has its own rules and requirements. We can help you identify which would best suit your needs. See the Visa Library.

If you want to come to the UK to work, live, visit, or study, we can help you choose which is the best path for you. There are many different reasons why someone might want to come to the UK and, in the vast majority of cases, there is an appropriate visa route.

Applying for a visa can be a complex process; it can be hard to understand the rules relating to each particular visa. Woodcock Law can simplify this. Our expert team is always on hand to help.

You will need to submit various documents along with your application. We ensure that they are more likely to be accepted by the Home Office. Incomplete documentation can often lead to applications being rejected.

Study in the UK

Thousands of people from around the world apply to study in the UK each year. We have extensive experience, helping individuals obtain their graduate visas.

Applying for visas to study in the UK can be confusing, particularly for young people from different countries. We help to make that process much easier for our clients.

Universities, as well as UK authorities, may request that documents such as degree certificates and other qualifications are ‘authenticated’ before they can be accepted. We assist student hopefuls in the preparation of their documents so that they can be accepted by UK authorities.

Visitor Visas

Requirements for visitors to the UK differ, depending on the country of origin, and how long you intend to stay in the country.

We are experts in UK immigration. We provide early consultation to clients who wish to find out more about applying for Visitor Visas and what will be required of them.

We have extensive experience when it comes to assisting individuals who wish to apply for either Standard or Long-term Visitor Visas.
