At Woodcock Law, we are committed to providing clear, transparent pricing for all our immigration services. We understand that navigating the legal process can be complex, which is why we ensure our fees are straightforward, competitive, and tailored to the needs of each client.

SRA Price & Service Transparency

Under SRA Transparency Rules, we are required to publish price and service information regarding our Immigration services.

The costs associated with immigration applications can vary depending on your individual circumstances. We charge flexible fixed fees based on the type of immigration application required, the experience of the solicitor and the complexity of your specific case, which is why there is usually a range given in the pricing structure below.

Other factors include where you currently reside, your immigration history, the availability and timeliness of required documentation, the volume of supporting evidence to review, and the preparation time needed for your application. Additional considerations include Home Office processing times, and whether an interview will be required.

All fees include 20% VAT.

  • Arranging Home Office application appointments, if required.
  • Liaising with the Home Office about your application, should the need arise.
  • Advising you on the outcome of your application and the next steps you may need to take.

* The time required for this will depend on several factors, including the number of documents, whether they require translation, if any are missing, and how long it takes to obtain any missing documents.

Timescales for Immigration Services

Since every case is different, application times are likely to vary. We will give you a more accurate estimate of timescales in your first consultation once we have a clearer picture of what is required.

Unfortunately, for certain types of applications such as Long Residency and Discretionary Leave, the processing times can take as long as 6 – 9 months.

Once we submit your application to the Home Office, we will liaise with them on your behalf until a decision is made, and your documents are returned.

We will keep you informed of any updates or correspondence from the Home Office.

We recommend checking the Home Office website for the most up-to-date information on visa processing times:

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee how long the Home Office will take to process your application.

Please note the anticipated number of hours and fees are an estimate based on the facts above. All applications are likely to vary and, of course, we can give you a more accurate estimate once we have more information about your specific case.
