PAPIA KABIR

Papia Kabir is a Chartered Legal Executive specialising in corporate and personal immigration services, including sponsor licence applications. 

She began her career as a legal intern with Woodcock Law, before joining the team full-time as a paralegal in 2021. She was appointed as a Certifying Acceptance Agent for the IRS in 2023.

In addition to her role as a Chartered Legal Executive, Papia is also a line manager for the paralegal team at Woodcock Law, where she supervises paralegals and oversees live case work, ensuring the highest standards of service for our clients.

Papia’s academic background includes an LLM postgraduate degree from BPP University, obtained in September 2020. Her recent qualification as a CILEX Fellow in August 2024 has earned her the title of Chartered Legal Executive. 

Papia’s current expertise includes:

• Providing immigration advice and assistance to private and corporate clients
• Preparing and submitting immigration application forms to the Home Office and its commercial partners
• Liaising with UKVI, TLSContact and VFS Global
• Assisting corporate clients with the immigration aspects of employment related matters. 
• Papia also oversees the Legal Internship Programme, assists with notarial matters, and liaises with the Inland Revenue Service (IRS) of the United States of America to complete ITIN & EIN applications.

Papia’s main strengths are building strong client relationships and advising/supporting clients with their immigration cases. Papia has extensive drafting experience and expertly handles the legalisation process.
