⚠️ What is a Secondment Worker Visa?
The Secondment Worker Visa allows individuals to be transferred to the UK to fulfil a high-value contract with a UK organisation. This route is part of the UK’s Global Business Mobility visas.

⚠️ What are the eligibility requirements for a Secondment Worker Visa?
To be eligible for this visa, you must be an existing employee of an overseas organisation that has a high-value contract with a UK sponsor organisation. You must have worked for the sponsor company, outside the UK, for at least 12 months. You must do a job that is on the list of eligible occupations. You must also prove that you have enough personal savings to move to the UK.

⚠️ How long am I allowed to stay in the UK with a Secondment Worker Visa?
The maximum time that you can stay in the UK with this visa is 2 years. The Home Office will initially grant a 12 month visa which can then be extended for a further 12 months.

⚠️ Does the Secondment Worker Visa allow for dependant family members?
Yes, you are allowed to bring dependant partners and children with you, if eligible.

⚠️ How much does it cost to apply for the Secondment Worker Visa?
The application fee for the Secondment Worker Visa is £259. You will also be required to pay the Healthcare Surcharge. If you’re applying as an individual, this is £624 per year of your stay. This cost increases with each additional dependant linked to your application. In addition, you will also need to prove that you have enough money to support yourself while in the UK. This is usually at least £1,270 before taking any dependants into consideration.
