Our fantastic 2025 Fiancé Visa and Spouse Visa application package

The process of bringing your beloved partner to the UK can be daunting and stressful, which is why we offer a package that combines our Fiancé Visa and Spouse Visa (also known as a Partner Visa) services. This means that we will help you apply for both.
When you use this package, just like your relationship, it is a long-term commitment to using our services, and our team will be there for you every step of the way to help you get your visas.
Please note that this package can only be used by people who are not yet married, but plan on getting married in the UK upon the arrival of the non-UK citizen partner. If you are already married, then you will just need to apply for a Spouse Visa.
Keep reading to find out more about the Fiancé Visa and Spouse Visa, and what process you will need to follow to successfully bring your partner to the UK.
Step one: Plan your wedding
Before you do anything else, you should make sure that you plan your wedding. This is because the Fiancé Visa only allows you to be in the UK for six months to get married. If you do not get married within this time, you will be in breach of the visa rules.
There is not anything we can do to help you plan your wedding within the required timeframe, so this will be entirely upon you and your partner to do together.
Step two: Apply for a Fiancé Visa
The next step on your way to being with your partner is that they will need to apply for a Fiancé Visa. This is only possible if you are not married, but plan on getting married within six months of your partner’s arrival in the UK.
There are a few requirements you will both need to meet to be able to apply for this visa. These are:
- All previous relationships have ended
- Both be 18 or over
- Have an existing relationship of at least two years
- Have lived together for at least two years, unless this is not accepted in your culture, or you have been studying or working in different countries (you will need to provide proof)
- Have a partner who is a British or Irish citizen resident in the UK; they can also be settled through the EUSS or ILR, or have protection status
- You plan on living together in the UK
- There is somewhere for your non-UK citizen partner to stay whilst waiting to get married in the UK
As part of our package, we will help you with every step of your Fiancé Visa application, including arranging all your paperwork and making sure it is all correct before sending your application off to the Home Office.
Step three: Get married
Once you have your Fiancé Visa, the next natural step is to get married or enter a civil partnership in the UK. Hopefully, this is a straightforward step and you have a lovely time.
The next steps can only be taken once you are legally married or in a civil partnership.
Step four: Apply for your Spouse Visa
After you have got married or entered a civil partnership, you should immediately begin your Spouse Visa application. If you take too long, then your Fiancé Visa could expire before you get to apply, and then you will have to leave the country.
However, if you have mitigating circumstances, you may be able to apply after the expiry date of the Fiancé Visa, though you will have to prove this.
The Spouse Visa essentially extends your stay in the UK and allows you to be with your partner for longer. You can then extend your visa once it is close to expiring; you can do this as many times as you like over the years.
Before you can apply, you will need to meet some requirements, like with the Fiancé Visa. Many of the requirements are the same, so it should not be difficult to meet them.
The general requirements for a Spouse Visa are:
- You are in a marriage or civil partnership that is recognised in the UK
- Have a partner who is either a British or Irish citizen, or is settled in the UK
- You intend to live together permanently after applying for the visa
- Have lived together for at least two years, unless this is not accepted in your culture, or you have been studying or working in different countries
We have not included all the requirements, as many of them are covered in the Fiancé Visa section, such as the requirement of being over 18.
As we have previously mentioned, we will help you apply for a Spouse Visa as part of our package deal, so you do not have to worry as much about making sure that you meet all the requirements, as we will figure it all out for you.
