The new simplified UK travel system has come into force, replacing the previous traffic light travel system. New test and isolation rules have also come into force for those who qualify as fully vaccinated. Woodcock Law explains the new travel vaccination rules.

On 2 October 2021, the Home Office published guidance to a concession that allows non-visa nationals to enter the UK at the border and work as an HGV fuel tanker driver until 31 March 2022. This comes after the initial press release on 24 October 2021.

The UK government has announced that HGV drivers will be eligible for temporary visas from October in response to the current crisis in the UK Haulage industry.
